Please pray for the Christian Club at Mandarin High School
and watch what God does in Jacksonville!
After See You at the Pole on September 16, a group of students at Mandarin High School wanted to start their own Christian Club on campus. I was invited to help facilitate this group of 17 students who meet at 1:45-2:30pm every Tuesday. At first a teacher was leading it, but after I met with her and explained SV and what we can offer, she was more than willing to give me access to address the kids and be the adult sponsor. I have met with the students twice so far and they are prayerfully seeking God about the direction He is leading them. Here is the list of what they want their Christian Club to accomplish: Reach out, Share Christ with friends, Encouraging fellowship, Show Love, Help the needy, and Build a safe community of believers.
This was a great start and really touched my heart that they were right on track with what Student Venture wants to equip them to do! Please pray for these students as they lead this student led club on campus: Chelsey, Dominic, Jordan, Brandy, Amber, Ashley, and Christa. These students are already strong in their faith and are full of potential! I am anticipating great things are going to happen for the Glory of God and lives are going to be transformed by the power of Jesus Christ!
