It's been a great summer connecting with students throughout the week! These girls and more come over on Wednesdays for a yummy, homemade breakfast from my kitchen. Then we discuss the book by C.S. Lewis "The Screwtape Letter" written in the 1940's. It's a challenging read but we break it down and discuss the main points he is making.Pictured from the bottom up are: Kimi, Emily, Yana, Kloey, and Jessi. Others who come are Marissa, Kristen, and Miranda.
It's been so fun to see the light come one when they learn something new all on their own! Most of these girls will be seniors this fall and want to help freshmen girls who enter into Bartram Trails High School get connected with Student Venture.
We saw this kind of ministry movement happen at Lake Brantley High School ten years ago and it's so exciting for me to see another generation reaching out to others.
School starts August 24th!
